College of Architecture, Design & Construction
The College of Architecture, Design and Construction is committed to preparing professionals in the design, built environment and construction industries through undergraduate professional programs and research in the academic areas of Architecture, Building Science, Industrial Design and Interior Architecture and graduate professional programs in Building Science, Community Planning, Industrial Design, and Landscape Architecture. Whether working with nationally respected corporations in the Department of Industrial Design, associating with major construction companies in the Department of Building Science, or building facilities to accommodate the needs of some of the state’s poorest citizens at the School of Architecture’s Rural Studio, CADC students learn in unique and flexible settings from innovative faculty and direct participation in research that leads to the development of new ideas and conditions.

College of Business
With nearly 4300 students, the College of Business is the second largest academic college on campus. Its undergraduate program was recently ranked #53 in the nation and with more than 750 MBA programs in the country, Auburn's on-campus MBA program was ranked 26th among public institutions for Best Return on Investment. In addition to outstanding instruction, the faculty is widely recognized in both the academic as well as business world for their research contributions. Many faculty have received special recognition for their significant research accomplishments in such areas as international banking and finance, economics, economics and policy making.

College of Education
The College of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education for the preparation of teachers and school service personnel with the doctor’s degree as the highest degree approved. Emphasis in all programs is upon the preparation of personnel who will be able to meet successfully the performance demands of the roles they assume in their professional positions. Faculty in the College of Education engage in scholarly research with the hope of impacting their respective fields as well as their community, state, nation and world. Research projects within the College have impacted national education initiatives and education related professional fields. Faculty research often leads to publication in scholastic journals and presentations at international and national conferences. Recently, the college has been a leading force in a research and education initiative to develop a new curriculum for teaching preschool children in China.

The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University is one of the great resources of the state of Alabama, the Southeast and the nation. Its graduates have distinguished themselves in many ways throughout the world. School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences
The School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences offers educational programs that prepare graduates for employment in a wide variety of forestry, wildlife, natural resources, and environmental management positions. Its research program is designed to utilize key expertise and programs within the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences to address critical natural resource issues at state, regional, national, and global scales. Research projects range from biodiversity, to air quality studies, to developing best practices for forest and wildlife management and the impact of urban sprawl on forest lands. The school's programs emphasize understanding of interrelationships among the functions and values of renewable natural resources.

College of Human Sciences
Human Sciences is a professional program central to the land grant mission that draws from the natural and social sciences, the arts and humanities. Faculty in the college are committed to research and creative scholarship which contributes new knowledge to improve the well-being of individuals, families, and communities. Research underway within the college include groundbreaking work on consumer behavior, global retailing, interior design, fashion forecasting, and textile and apparel product development; leading-edge research in such areas as early school adjustment, parent-child relationships, adolescent delinquency, transition to adulthood, family violence, and marital satisfaction; and enhancing the quality and nutritional value of food, improving food safety, identifying the role of nutrients in disease prevention and protection, and increasing service excellence in the hospitality industry.

College of Liberal Arts
Curricula in the College of Liberal Arts focus on four academic areas: Humanities, fine arts, communications and behavioral and social sciences. Within the college’s 12 departments are active research projects underway in the areas of art; communication and journalism; communication disorders; English and foreign languages and literatures; history; music; philosophy; political science; psychology; sociology, anthropology and social work; and theatre.

School of Nursing
The School of Nursing, established in 1979, offers a program of study leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The nursing curriculum prepares beginning professional nurse generalists who are capable of functioning as members of the healthcare team in providing care for individuals and groups in diverse settings. The program also provides an educational base for advancement in formal study, research and practice. Research in the School of Nursing is often linked with an outreach component. Some examples of research undertaken by nursing faculty include patient care and care quality improvement, caregiver education, healthcare intervention and quality improvement, and memory and aging.

Harrison School of Pharmacy
The Harrison School of Pharmacy has provided pharmaceutical product development expertise and services for numerous small, moderate, and large pharmaceutical firms. Development projects have included drug and protein products for use as prescription, OTC, nutraceutical, and veterinary applications. Besides the facility and expertise within the School, strong collaborations exist between the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Chemical Engineering, and East Alabama Medical Center.

The College of Sciences and Mathematics at Auburn University provides programs in the physical sciences, life sciences and mathematics at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Its research and teaching programs encompass the biological sciences, chemistry, mathematics and statistics, geology and geography and physics. Many of its faculty and student researchers are involved in inter-disciplinary programs designed to improve the quality and safety of the world’s food supplies and to pursue advances in biotechnology that will lead to medical and quality of life improvements.

College of Veterinary Medicine
The College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University is the oldest in the South and is the nation’s seventh oldest. It has graduated more than 5,500 doctors of veterinary medicine and has alumni in all 50 states. More than 31,000 animals a year are treated through its Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where real-world training is provided to future veterinarians. The College of Veterinary Medicine is making national strides in anti-bioterrorism research, small animal critical care, diabetes research, food safety, molecular biology, DNA-based vaccines, cancer treatment, parasite control, in vitro fertilization, sports medicine for athletic animals, and equine reproduction.
